Gentle Flow

Gentle flow is a class suitable for all levels. If you are brand new to yoga, coming back after an injury or just looking to slow right down and open up the body then this is the class for you. Gentle flow focuses on mindful movement with breath which sets a great foundation for your yoga practice. Much of the class will take place on the floor with limited standing postures.

The intent of this class is to stretch, restore functional mobility and open the body rather than build strength. The temperature of this class is comfortable.

Style:Gentle VinyasaSuitable for:Beginners, gentle practice, and pregnancy

Yin Sound

Yin Sound combines two deeply restorative practices - Yin Yoga and Sound Healing into one powerful class.

Yin is a gentle, floor-based practice that targets the connective tissue rather than the muscles. We consciously soften and hold postures for up to 5 minutes, releasing blockages and balancing out the more dynamic styles of yoga and a busy lifestyle.

Sound healing has been used across cultures for thousands of years to move people from imbalance to balance. Research has linked it to reduced stress and improved sleep. Using live instrumentation, the harmonic vibrations penetrate deeply - promoting healing and wellbeing on many levels.

Simply lay back, relax and enjoy.

Style:Yin SoundSuitable for:Beginners, those with injuries or anyone looking for deep rest and restoration.

Hatha

A complete practice incorporating yoga postures (asana), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and chanting. Natural heat is built in the body using a combination of dynamic and static yoga postures. A strong focus is placed upon breath and mindfulness. This practice is suitable for all levels.

Style:Hatha (stand alone postures)Suitable for:All levels

Asana Lab

Asana Lab is an interactive, workshop style class that answers the questions you never get to ask - not a flow class, not a sequence - but a discussion, demonstration and experience of individual postures, techniques, variations and common challenges, so you can practice the postures in a way that suits your body.

Style:Asana LabSuitable for:Beginners building confidence and experienced practitioners refining their practice.

Slow Flow

Bringing the element of time into the practice. Enjoy slowing down with this blend of Hatha (stand alone postures) and Vinyasa (flow) but be aware this does not always mean it will be easy.

Poses are generally held for longer periods, with the transitions between slowed down and fewer of them. Poses can be refined and strengthened, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose.

The slow-paced nature of this class means it's great for beginners, but also perfect for intermediate or advanced yogis who would like to sink deeper into their practice.

Style:Hatha (stand alone postures) and Vinyasa (flow)Suitable for:All levels

Community Yoga

At $10 or included in your Zenko membership, community yoga is intended to make yoga accessible to as many people as possible. Expect a well-rounded practice with time to settle into each posture, connect with your breath and move through a sequence designed for every level. This class is a great option for those new to yoga, returning after a break or anyone looking for a grounded, enjoyable practice without the pressure of pace.

Style:Vinyasa / Slow FlowSuitable for:All levels

Yin

Yin Yoga is a gentle floor based practice that targets the connective tissue, such as the ligaments, bones and joints rather than the muscles which we actively engage in most other styles of yoga.  In this practice we consciously soften and relax the muscles, holding the postures for up to 5 minutes, this helps to stretch into the connective tissue and release blockages in the body.

Its a great practice to help balance out the more dynamic styles of yoga and a really active/busy lifestyle.

A welcoming, deeply nourishing class that blends gentle floor-based yin shapes with a guided relaxation practice. Expect shapes to be held longer to hydrate and unwind the connective tissue and guided yoga nidra prompts to allow you to experience deep rest and relaxation. This class is a great option for those new to yoga, returning after a break or anyone looking for a practice that helps them slow down, release and restore.

Laurens's Story

A Legacy of Love

Lauren discovered yoga while running a PR agency in Melbourne. It awakened her soul and changed her path forever. She went from student to full-time teacher in just months, eventually opening multiple studios across Australia and launching A Live Yogi—the country’s first live online yoga platform.

As a speaker, teacher, and community leader, Lauren inspired thousands. Her mission was simple but powerful: for everyone to experience the life-changing benefits of yoga. For her, yoga wasn’t something you do—it was something you are. Like water, it becomes essential to life.

Lauren’s life was marked by authenticity, joy, and a deep sense of service. In 2022, shortly after giving birth to her daughter Lucinda, Lauren tragically passed away due to a rare complication. Her spirit lives on through her daughters, her husband Ryan, and the Zenko community she so lovingly built.

Her dream was to help every person uncover their purpose and live fully, courageously, and with heart. Zenko Yoga continues this mission—helping you connect with your true self, one breath at a time.
